The Pelican Room
The Pelican Room is what we consider our master suite and the heart of our renovation journey at Bird Island. Located on the upper floor of the bar and dining building, this room was the first space chosen to bring our vision for the island to life.
Perched above the island, the room offers elevated views and a bright, airy atmosphere that captures the beauty of life surrounded by the Caribbean Sea. Thoughtfully updated with a blend of modern comfort and island charm, the Pelican Room features warm wood furnishings, calming coastal tones, and cozy seating areas perfect for relaxing after a day on the water.
Wake up to ocean views, enjoy the sea breeze drifting through the windows, and unwind in a space designed to reflect the simple beauty of island living. As the flagship of our renovation efforts, the Pelican Room represents the direction we are taking Bird Island — comfortable, inviting, and deeply connected to its surroundings.
King Bed
We’ve chosen a medium-firm cooling memory foam mattress for your comfort, set on a beautifully crafted solid wood bed and complemented by matching wooden side tables on either side.
Sitting Area
In your sitting area, you’ll find a spacious sofa and a coffee table, complemented by a couple of stools/ottomans for additional seating.
Storage
The wardrobe in the room offers hanging space, drawers, and shelves, giving you plenty of room to unpack and settle in, so you can enjoy your stay without living out of your suitcase.
Bathroom
The full ensuite bathroom includes a bathtub, macerating toilet, single vanity, and great lighting for your comfort.
Bathroom Ammenities
We provide reef-safe shampoo, conditioner, and body soap to help protect the surrounding environment. To ensure you have everything you need, you’ll also find a selection of essentials such as Q-tips, dental floss, hair ties, cotton balls and pads, and even a spare bamboo toothbrush.
